Prof.Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President of Graduate Studies & Research, signed a cooperation protocol between the University Development Center at Mansoura University and the German House "GOETHE-INSTITUT KAIRO" (the partner accredited by the Goethe Institute) to strengthen cooperation between the two parties to teach the German language to the employees of Mansoura University and the Delta region.
The signing of the agreement witnessed the presence of Prof. Nahed Al-Anani - Director of the University Development Center at Mansoura University, Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman - Coordinator of the Agreement, and Dr. Mohamad El-Rifai - Director of the International Relations Office at Mansoura University and Mrs. Lamia Mahmoud - Director General of cultural relations at the university, and the delegation of the German House, Mrs. Sally Bondoq - Director General of the German House, Mr. Adham Mohamad - Administrative Director and Head of Courses, and Mr. Hassan Ahmed - Director of Contracts, then the arrangements for the launch of training courses to teach the German language, will start from 15 November 2020.
Prof. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President of Graduate Studies & Research, assured that Mansoura University provides many services to qualify university employees to keep up with local and international needs as well as to increase international cooperation and research projects with Germany.
Dr. Mohamad El-Rifai - Director of the International Relations Office at Mansoura University welcomed the initiative to teach the German language at the university and to participate with the German Authority for Academic Exchange to conduct skills-raising courses, hold cultural evenings, and the various activities of the authority under the auspices of the International Relations Office at Mansoura University.
This agreement is the first step to pave the way for a cooperation protocol with the Goethe Institute to have the German language test at Mansoura University and providing specialized German language courses in the medical field, and getting qualifications to pass the German language test.
The German House delegation expressed its great gratitude and thanks to Mansoura University for the splendid hosting to serve the university in particular and the delta region in general.
