Prof.Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President for Graduate Studies, Research and Cultural Affairs received a delegation from Banat University, who is visiting Mansoura University from 13th to 20th November 2020, to discuss activating cooperation between two universities including students and stuff members exchange , and also discussing cooperation in the common programs and research projects in the field of agriculture and veterinary medicine.
The delegation included Dr. Ioana Mihaela Balan - Professor of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, and Dr. Teodor Ioan Trasca, Professor of Food Engineering at Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.
The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Elrefai - Director of International Relations Office at Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al-Aidi, Professor of Plant Pathology at the Faculty and Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program at the University.
During the visit, the delegation was received at the Office of International Relations, then they had a meeting with Prof.Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President for Graduate Studies, Research and Cultural Affairs, to discuss ways of future cooperation between the two universities. Then the delegation visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as well as Faculty of Agriculture at Mansoura University.
In this concern the delegation was received by Prof.Dr. Adel Al-Tabei - Dean of the faculty and Prof. Dr. Sabry Nassar - Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies Affairs, where they visited the various laboratories of the faculty . The delegation also visited the Faculty of Agriculture, where they were received by Prof.Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Migeed - Dean of the Faculty and Prof.Dr. Yasser Shabana - Professor of Plant Pathology and Director of the Laboratory of Seed to get acquainted with the research and services which provide to researchers in order to deepen cooperation between Mansoura University and Banat University for Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Romania.
Dr. Mohamed Elrefai - Director of International Relations Office at Mansoura University, explained that this visit was coordinated within the European academic mobility project between the two universities to exchange experiences and build common academic and research programs that benefit both parties. Dr. Elrefai assured the importance of these visits and the benefit of European programs to develop higher education. Through specialized expertise in vital areas such as biological and veterinary sciences.
