Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research received on Monday, 5th April 2021 a high-level scientific delegation from Vasile Goldis University in Arad, Romania, within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ program for the exchange of university staff . The delegation included Prof. Dr. Antoanela Naaj, Director of the International Relations Office, and Ms. Dariana Savici, Director of the Erasmus Office. Where Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez welcomed the guests and reviewed the research and service capabilities that can be provided to researchers in order to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between Mansoura University and Vasile Goldis University in Romania.
The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Al-Rifai, Director of the International Relations Office at Mansoura University, and Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah, Dr. Nashwi Abdel Rahman and Dr. Basma Ahmed, members of the office.
During their tour round at the university, the delegation visited the Mansoura Center for Vertebrate Fossils at the Faculty of Science, where the guests expressed their great admiration for the fossils that the center includes, in particularly the Egyptian dinosaur "Mansourasaurus", which was discovered by the research team of Mansoura University led by Dr. Hisham Salam in the western desert of Egypt.
